High-Precision PTFE Tubing

Custom PTFE Tubing for Demanding Industrial Applications

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) tubing is a high-performance specialty tubing known for its excellent chemical and temperature resistance, low friction, non-stick surface and electrical insulation. These properties make it suitable for demanding fluid handling, insulation, protection and precision component applications.
We specialize in high-precision and custom PTFE tubing, supporting different inner and outer diameters, wall thicknesses, tolerances, colors and configurations. With precision extrusion, in-line dimensional inspection and controlled production, we turn customer drawings, samples and specifications into consistent PTFE tubing solutions for a wide range of industrial applications.

What Is High-Precision PTFE Tubing?

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), commonly known as Teflon and sometimes referred to as the “Plastic King,” is a fluoropolymer used to produce tubing, seals, linings and other engineered components. PTFE tubing is formed from PTFE resin through controlled manufacturing processes to achieve the required tube structure and dimensions.

The term high-precision PTFE tubing refers to tubing manufactured with tighter control over key dimensions such as inner diameter (ID), outer diameter (OD) and wall thickness. This dimensional consistency is particularly important when the tubing must fit precisely with connectors, maintain a defined flow path or meet the dimensional requirements of an integrated component.

Unlike general-purpose PTFE tubing, high-precision tubing is produced according to defined dimensional specifications and inspection requirements. The appropriate tolerance depends on the tube size, structure, application and production method.

6 Key Performance Benefits

01

Wide Temperature Range

Maintains stable performance across a wide temperature range, including demanding cryogenic and high-temperature environments.

02

Exceptional Chemical Stability

Resists almost all strong acids, strong alkalis and organic solvents, making it suitable for aggressive chemical environments.

03

Self-Lubricating & Low Friction

Its exceptionally low coefficient of friction provides self-lubricating performance, helping reduce friction, energy consumption and component wear.

04

Excellent Electrical Insulation

With a low dielectric constant of approximately 2.0 and excellent dielectric properties, PTFE tubing is suitable for high-voltage and high-frequency applications.

05

Non-Stick & Weather Resistant

The non-stick surface resists material adhesion and buildup, while its strong weather resistance supports long-term outdoor and demanding service conditions.

06

Physiologically Inert & Hygienic

PTFE is physiologically inert and non-toxic, making it suitable for medical, pharmaceutical and food-contact applications. It also supports steam sterilization.

Our PTFE tubing production line adopts advanced extrusion molding technologies, featuring the following capabilities:

Precision extrusion molding using dedicated ram extruders and precision tooling, with accurate temperature control and sintering processes, achieving outer diameter tolerances within±0.06mm; multiple forming processes including paste extrusion (suitable for small-diameter thin-walled tubing), ram extrusion (for large-diameter thick-walled tubing), mandrel extrusion (ensuring uniform wall thickness), and multi-cavity extrusion (forming multiple lumens in one pass); an intelligent production line with automated controls and in-line monitoring, integrating laser micrometers and vision inspection systems for 100% full inspection; eco-friendly and energy-efficient processes with a condenser recovery system for lubricants; and full traceability with complete process parameter records for each batch.
